Blog Space Identification Activity - First Blog Post Connor Maxwell




The three free blog spaces I have personally chosen are Blogger, Squarespace and Wix, and they will all fundamentally do the same thing, but they do each have different features. For example, on blogger it has a one click installation to popular hosting platforms, huge library of plugins and themes and super easy to post blog posts. The second blog space i picked was Squarespace and some of the features that come with that include free to use templates to use for your blog to make it look nicer, image manager, pre-designed layouts and custom color schemes and fonts. The third and final one i picked was Wix, and it is very similar to Squarespace in terms of having a similar feature, such as free templates to use for your blog, but it also has a blog title generator, built in SEO and marketing tools and also a rich text editor. 


All the options I chose are great for anyone to use, and you cannot go wrong with any of them, however there are a few reasons which made my decision on picking Blogger as my personal blog of choice and that is simply because It is very easy to set up and only takes around 2 mins, and you can then jump right in and make a blog post without any problems however the features that made me pick this blog over the others were the fact that there is a huge library of plugins which will make everything a lot easier if i ever require them and I wouldn't need to go to another site to get them, secondly it has easy to use categorization and drag and drop with will make everything easier if i need to organize things properly for my post as well as having a big image library. The other two blogs have good features as i have already mentioned. However, I simply prefer the features that are offered by using Blogger over any of the other two choices and prefer the simplicity and ease.
